Odor buster™ restricts or prevents the urine-enzyme reactions and thereby reduces ammonia production in poultry litter or manure pit. The reduction of ammonia concentration in the air will provide a better environment for animals to grow faster and healthier and also permit many beneficial bacterial organisms to grow and multiply and hence digest the sludge produced in the farms.
Many universities and feed manufacturers have conducted research in feeding yucca extracts to more than 20,000 heads of hogs and the results have been positive in reducing odors and boosting performance. In most cases, producers can observe a marked reduction in odors, after feeding Odor Buster, in 30 days. Improvements in body growth can also be observed. Odor Buster™ can be used in premixes, base mixes, concentrates, and complete feeds. Odor Buster Liquid can be used in liquid feeds, water system medicators or sprayed directly on animal wastes (manure, litter) to reduce odors and help decompose sludge.
